Pune, April 21, 2011 - At the latest of Extentia’s ‘Breakfast Talk’ series at the Boat Club, Pune, entrepreneur Prakash Bang shared his views on successful marketing. An intense speaker, his hour-long session titled ‘Focus – A Key to Marketing Success’ held the audience’s full attention. Bang talked about the significance of how a brand is perceived by customers regardless of its actual attributes, and that it was important to be a specialist while doing business. To illustrate this, he cited several examples including some from Pune, and some from his career of over three decades.
Bang also said it was important to be the first (or close to first) to execute a business idea successfully. With more examples, he said people recall anyone who’s the ‘__st’ at something, and not who did it after that. At the end of the session the Extentia audience participated in a Q&A, where Bang fielded questions about specialization.
