Extentia conducted a Mobile UI Design workshop on January 6th and 7th at Extentia Tower. The event was well attended with enthusiastic participation from design professionals and students. Sessions were held by the Design Studio team. The participants created actual user interfaces for mobile applications on the second day, and were given completion certificates at the end of the workshop. The Sakal newspaper covered the event.

Apte talked about how social networks would have to offer actual value to attract and retain users. Networking would be about real expertise and inputs from trusted people, than just having many 'friends', with interactions limited to a few. The session was covered by the Sakal and Indian Express newspapers.

A web initiative from SKumars Online Limited, BCOL is a nationwide network to facilitate e-commerce primarily for the Indian film, television and advertising industry. The launch included a press conference, and was attended by several celebrities from the Bollywood film industry including filmmaker Jag Mundhra and actor Neetu Chandra. Extentia’s team was commended by BCOL CEO Chandra Mundhra at the event.
