Pune, India, October 4, 2010 -Extentia’s iXtentia division, that focuses on Apple, Android, BlackBerry and other mobile technologies, completed a year in existence recently. In the past year, iXtentia has launched several iPhone and iPad applications on the Apple App Store, some of which have featured in the top 150 on iTunes.

iXtentia built applications have also received a fair amount of coverage in the press for their innovations and ease of use. Inquiries from prospective customers have increased month on month since September 2009, and the number of visitors to the iXtentia web site have gone up ten-fold since the first month of launch. Interest worldwide in iPhone, iPad, and most recently iOS 4 application development has driven this traffic.

iXtentia now counts companies from the United States, Singapore, Australia, the Middle East and Canada as customers. Recent successful, and rated applications were iExpertEnglish – an application that provides English language assistance, Ramadan – a calendar application for the Middle East, and iBrickset – a guide to LEGO ® sets for collectors.
