1. Sharepoint Developer – JD – IT/SP/225
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Help Business Analysts assess product requirements (ongoing)
- Develop SharePoint design specifications
- Create customized views using XSLT and CSS
- Create custom web parts, event handlers and workflows (using both SharePoint Designer and VS.NET 2008)
- Collaborate with the QA team to define and execute test plans
- Mentor team members in areas of core competencies
- Participate in software releases and project reviews
- Support the deployment of the application
- Identify system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of experience of developing SharePoint components including web-parts, lists, master pages, page layouts, workflows, InfoPath forms and back end processing solutions
- Experience in configuring SharePoint OOB Search, Indexing, Excel Services and other services from Central Administration
- Ability to create complex content query web-part pages and employ roll up lists and aggregation
- Should be familiar with CAML syntax and its use in filters
- Practical experience with hands-on development, design, analysis and architecture of SharePoint solutions in a variety of contexts
