Mentor – real world IT projects for students
 Mentor is a program designed especially for students (MS/PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, other sciences) keen to experience working in a dynamic IT environment.

Typically, Mentor placements last around 6 months. Participants work offsite in small project teams, advised and mentored by experienced Extentia professionals. Mentor placements are designed to fit in with your regular studies.
Because you’ll be working on a live, ‘real world’ project, you’ll be able to put theory into practice and gain valuable hands-on industry experience. There’s also an opportunity for successful interns to join Extentia at the end of their studies.

 Extentia Information Technology is a global software development and consulting organization delivering IT solutions to clients throughout Europe and North America. Founded in 1998, we have offices in the US, Germany and India and offer many services including consulting, project management, software development and support. The Mentor program operates from our Pune offices in Koregaon Park and Kalyani Nagar.
Application Procedure
- Get a small team together (3-5 people). Your team members should have a range of skills since you will be handling all aspects of the project lifecycle (e.g. design, development, testing and project management).
- Each team member should complete the online application form. Your application and profiles will be reviewed for shortlisting before a two-step interview and selection process.
