Sakaar
Sakaar is Extentia’s social responsibility project, and is our way of making a difference within our community. The name is derived from the Hindi word ‘Sakaar’, which means to realize, fulfill or achieve. Our mission is simple - create social awareness in our city, help the underprivileged, and provide support for charitable institutions. Since the launch of Sakaar in late 2001, we have organized many activities for the underprivileged. Some of these are listed below:

Extentia donated medicines, and some of the basic necessities they needed. What made the children especially happy, was several games and toys. But most importantly, they spent a great time together - played with them and put a smile on their faces. It was a lovely experience for everyone.
Volunteers from Extentia’s Royal Brigade house instructed FoC students on the use of Microsoft Office software. The session was held Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Extentia’s ITT premises, with Extentians taking time to come in during a holiday. Around 44 students from Saswad, Someshwarnagar, and Pune attended the training.
Some of them had travelled for more than 2 hours to reach the venue. Many of them had exposure to the use of computers, but there were a few students who touched one for the first time! The session was conducted along with learning games, and there was a break for lunch. This effort was highly appreciated by the students and the FoC staff. See more photos
