A pioneer in the world of information technology, Marc graduated from George-August University, Germany, obtained his Masters degree from the Technical University of Berlin and earned a Ph.D. from Humbold University of Berlin. An expert in project planning utilizing information technology, Marc brings over 20 years of software experience and extensive familiarity with the outsourcing processes to Extentia. Having successfully managed technology organizations both in India and in Germany; he has a particularly sensitive understanding of the global development model and provides valuable direction to Extentia and Extentia’s customers.

Umeed Kothavala
Director

Umeed holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, USA and is the key executive manager for Extentia’s Indian operations. Umeed provides Extentia with long term vision and strategic business thinking and is continuously looking to the future for opportunities and changes in the technology and consulting landscape. His unique style of management fosters a constructive, cooperative and vibrant work environment that nurtures motivated, reliable and committed professionals. Umeed's remarkable executive style allows Extentia to function as a multi-faceted corporate entity, covering not only technology advances and academic initiatives but also social responsibility and customer management.

Dr. Markus Volpers
Director

Markus, entrepreneur and biologist, completed his studies at the University of Cologne, Germany. In addition to several other successful entrepreneurial ventures, Markus was a founding partner in ITB GmbH in 1993. Markus has a strong background in hardware and systems integration and has developed an extraordinary understanding of technology and the software development processes. He is instrumental in guiding customers, constructing long-term technology plans and is a demanding leader and manager. He brings his vast knowledge of the software industry, and his years of experience in managing global teams to Extentia.

Naazneen Boocha
Business Head

Naazneen is responsible for project delivery and managing the technology group within Extentia. Along with her extensive technical and management experience, she brings a rare combination of practicality and efficiency to her role. Having spent the last 15 years managing development teams she is ideally suited to fostering effective collaboration between divisions and departments, while establishing responsibilities and procedures for attaining project objectives. Naazneen’s vast exposure to international development practices plays a significant role in the high standards of quality that Extentia's clients expect.

Jaya Kasturi
Business Unit Head

With over ten years of project management experience Jaya, manages multiple long-term relationships and oversees activities related to healthcare, education and online learning amongst others. Jaya plays an important role in setting technical standards and has been active in establishing company-wide processes and practices. Her responsibilities include understanding and applying system development methodologies to application development activities in order to achieve business objectives. She has extensive experience in client-server applications, database driven solutions and is often responsible for identifying key new technologies to invest in.

Anil Chadda
Business Unit Head

Anil Chadda holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from IIT, India and has over 25 years of experience – having worked in marketing, academia and software project delivery. Having been with Extentia since its inception, Anil has had the opportunity to cultivate and manage several key relationships and has played a vital role in providing direction to the company. His multi-faceted background equips him to handle a wide range of engagements and he often works in an advisory capacity with customers as they put together technology and business plans. Anil primarily works with clients in the UK and oversees projects in the open-source and mobile space.

Preeti Gupte
Business Unit Head

Preeti has been with Extentia for over eight years and played an instrumental role in building and establishing Extentia's Design Studio as a trusted and capable source of high quality visual design and usability studies. Preeti is currently based in the US and in addition to overseeing the creative and visual teams at Extentia, is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships in North America. Preeti brings over 12 years of graphic design and visual communication experience to Extentia and has been responsible for delivering solutions ranging from corporate branding and e-commerce stores, to application interfaces, usability reports and content development strategies. She works closely with customers, not only in overseeing web development and content management programs, but also in defining requirements and creating business cases.
