Assistant Commissioner of Police Bhanupratap Barge of the Crime Branch, Pune enthralled Extentians with experiences from his career. Importantly, he gave the audience insights on the life of people in the police force, the challenges and difficulties they face, and how citizens can cooperate with them. He requested more citizen participation, along with ideas and suggestions for the police.
ACP Barge shared details of encounters with several terrorist outfits and criminal gangs, particularly the infamous ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ on which a movie was later made. The session featured a lot of humor, and the engaged audience had a lot of questions for the speaker at the end.
