On Thursday, October 25, Extentia hosted a session of breakfast talk with the Storytellers. A group of diverse professionals, they came together to narrate the tale of Choubuli written by Padma Shri Vijayan Detha. A tale of patriarchy, power, freedom, and much more – the story revolves around thakurs, thikanas, kings, and princes. The emphasis was on the fact that it is as relevant today, as it was when it was written.
Each member of the Storytellers took a turn telling the tale of Choubuli and engaged the audience completely with the narrative. The session ended with some members sharing their insights and a discussion of the themes showcased in the story.
