Salah Timings, an iOS and Android app by Extentia, is now available as a skill developed for Amazon Alexa. This skill provides Islamic prayer timings to users worldwide, for any day.
The Alexa Voice Service (AVS), that powers Amazon Echo, allows users to interact with the device using voice commands. The range of workable skills includes answering questions, playing music, controlling smart home devices, managing to-do lists, and more.
This skill aims at keeping users, especially those who travel regularly, stay updated on the prayer timings.
Users can find the Namaz schedule using any of the following sample utterances:
“Alexa, ask Salah Timings prayer timings in [city].”
“Alexa, ask Salah Timings please give me prayer timings in [city].”
“Alexa, ask Salah Timings to tell me prayer timings for [city].”
“Alexa, ask Salah Timings please give me prayer timings in [city] tomorrow.”
“Alexa, ask Salah Timings for prayer timings in [city] for November third, two thousand and nineteen.”
