XPL Football Tournament 2024

A Spectacular Exhibition of Talent and Solidarity! 

The XPL Football Tournament 2024, held at the Gary Kirsten Cricket India ground in Pune, was a grand event well-arranged by Infinite. It presented six teams from Extentia – Constant Variables, Infinite, Parikrama, Royal Brigade, Spartans and Unicorn- contending for the top spot over five days.

The event began with introductory practice matches on first two days, allowing participants to refine their skills. The tournament format included four days of intense league matches and one day devoted to semi-finals and finals. 

The air at the venue was lively and energetic, with every Extentians passionately backing their respective Houses. The Spartans, Royal Brigade, Infinite, and Constant Variables successfully advanced to the semi-finals, while Parikrama and Unicorn put in their best efforts. 

In the semi-finals, both Royal Brigade and Constant Variables emerged victorious. However, it is the Constant Variables that ultimately clinched the victory after an intense penalty shootout.  

The event was more than just a football tournament; it was a vibrant testament to the camaraderie and collective spirit that thrives among the Extentians. This tournament has taught us valuable lessons that will continue to foster numerous future occasions of celebration, unity, and success!
