The second-largest producer of masterbatches lacked a centralized database for managing inquiries, causing inefficiencies and delays. A unified system was needed to streamline processes and improve customer service.
Merkle Solution
To create a database that helps manage and nurture leads, a centralized system was put in place to improve the process. A page was created for the R&D department to easily develop color recipes. The quotation process was automated, and an interface was built to display reports and cost comparisons. A costing system for masterbatches was set up, and inquiries were made accessible on the go using Salesforce Core.
