This year’s theme is D.I.E – Data, Intelligence, and Experience
Extentia’s annual hackathon returns with a D.I.E. HARD theme in Season 4. The 24-hour event will take place on August 24-25 and require participants to develop technology-based solutions – from concept to pitch. Six teams comprising of coders, designers, and sales representatives will compete to solve a set of challenge statements. The theme for this year – D.I.E. – focuses on Data, Intelligence, and Experience tasking the teams to develop cutting-edge technology solutions for real-world problems.
X24 Season 3 was full of twists as challenge statements were revealed two days prior to the event and teams could pick their own statements. They were even given the liberty to exchange the challenge statements till 11 am on the day of the event. The Marketplace returned with free intellectual and hands-on services and allowed the participation of flexible members. This service enabled participants to gain some insights and produce well-rounded applications.
Like every year, local establishments will support X24 and sponsor prizes for the teams this season. The hashtags ‘#hackathonX24’ and ‘#X24diehard’ are being used to promote the event across social media. There is also a live website feed that will broadcast the action leading up to the event and as it unfolds on the day.
