A Year of Synergy: Extentia and Merkle Celebrate Integration and a Merging of Cultures.
The seamless integration has prioritized cultural values to drive good business.
Pune, India, August 04, 2023
Extentia, a Merkle Company, recently celebrated the completion of one year of the acquisition by Dentsu Group Inc. and integration with Merkle.
Over the past year, Extentia's nearly 800-strong team in Pune and Bangalore, India, helped bolster Merkle's existing Salesforce capabilities, adding scale and new Salesforce App Cloud capabilities. With over 350 Salesforce certifications and expertise as a Salesforce Crest Partner, Extentia has made significant contributions to Merkle's offerings in Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud capabilities.
The year saw multiple visits from both Merkle and Extentia leadership teams to collaborate on discussions and plans for making integration a smooth experience, and to highlight their shared vision and limitless synergies to deliver advanced solutions worldwide. Teams from both companies are working to implement strategies and build upon each other's strengths to enhance their ability to deliver a customer-centric approach to business.
"I'm looking forward to an incredibly exciting future for all of us, and I'm happy we took this decision a year ago," said Umeed Kothavala, CEO at Extentia. "One of the most important indicators to me of how successful this relationship has already been, is in what's happened today, and really what happened over the last two weeks. The effort behind M.1 has been from the grassroots. The program, the activity, the energy was driven from the ground up. And to me, that means that there is enthusiasm across the organization."
"The past year has been wonderful, of course. It's been filled with some unforgettable moments. We feel privileged to be welcomed into the Merkle-dentsu family with open arms, and as we move forward, I know the journey ahead is exciting," said Naazeen Boocha, Chief Delivery Officer at Extentia. "It's uncharted in many ways, but I can assure you that the Extentians are committed to driving this to success. We want to learn more. We want to share more. We want to grow more, and of course, we want to do more, dream more, and deliver more."
"We knew when we wanted the Extentia family to join us that it was a company that had amazing talent and amazing capabilities. We also knew that the leaders put a lot of care into the culture," said Pete Stein, President, Americas at Merkle. Reflecting on the one-year journey since the acquisition, Pete highlighted the significance of the culture and design thinking in driving customer experience transformation. He expressed excitement about the future and the strong connections being built between Merkle and Extentia, as they work together as one powerful and connected company.
Extentia employees, including the leadership team, are currently making the transition to Merkle. The company is developing joint go-to-market plans and accelerating growth across both businesses.
