Must Have

  • Over 6+ years of experience working on the Salesforce platform

  • Developers with experience in Communities and Service Cloud implementation and proven Salesforce Administration skills

  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support business functions, meet project goals and stakeholders’ requirements

  • Communicate & collaborate with stakeholders, project managers and colleagues throughout all phases of analysis, development, testing and deployment

  • Adapt quickly into the defined development methodology (agile, rapid etc.) to achieve project goals successfully  

  • Possess in depth/ strong knowledge of development & configuration of along with other software engineering practices (e.g. OOPS, version control, code reviews etc.)

  • Adhere to best coding best practices laid down by Salesforce

  • Develop app exchange products as per the Salesforce App Exchange guidelines

  • Well versed with lightning skills (component development, SLDS, Aura framework) and scripting languages (JavaScript & JQuery)

  • Manage users, apps (custom and installed), including integrations with third-party systems

  • Must be able to setup, manage and update security settings like OWD, field level security, profiles, permission sets and roles effectively

  • Create and manage standard/custom objects, standard/custom fields, object relationships, validation rules, custom buttons and page layouts

  • Create new and maintain existing workflow rules, approval processes, flows and process builder processes

  • Should be able to independently handle data migrations across Salesforce orgs

  • Own CRM data integrity including record de-duping and cleanup

  • Monitor, measure and communicate metrics

  • Develop and implement trainings to drive adoption and usage

  • Evaluate new tools as they become available, communicating future Salesforce releases and enhancements

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows and field maps

  • Create dashboards, reports and custom report types, evolving analytics to uncover patterns and insights

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to document business and technical requirements

  • Identify and evaluate potential global and local integration or third-party vendors

  • Manage vendor relationship with Salesforce and any other third-parties

  • Schedule, plan and execute deployments by effectively collaborating with development teams using change sets/IDE/other migration tools

  • Troubleshoot any existing issues and recommend solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Should be Salesforce certified

Good to have

  • Should be able to effectively participate in peer to peer code reviews and contribute to the best practices

  • Any experience of 3rd party system integration with Salesforce will be preferred

  • Should be able to configure and use any relevant App Exchange products when required/ recommended

  • Must have worked in Lightning enabled environment
