Interns from over 40 countries have had cross-cultural work experience since 2003
CONNECT, Extentia’s global internship program has completed 16 years since its inception in 2003 – with more than 150 interns from all over the world. The three to six month international internships have had the majority of students from Germany, Singapore, and the United States, followed by other countries such as France, Mauritius, Kenya, Uganda, The Netherlands, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia, Serbia, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Lithuania, and Indonesia.
CONNECT offers internships in marketing, sales, software development, quality assurance, and human resources. A monthly stipend and accommodation are provided by Extentia.
The internship program provides international students with excellent opportunities to grow their cross-cultural, social, and business networks. They also get serious hands-on project experience
while working closely with different departments of the company. There are several client-facing projects as well. In addition, they get to participate in Extentia’s after work activities that include sports tournaments and cultural events throughout the year.
CONNECT alumni stay in touch with Extentia after completing their tenure, and often become ‘ambassadors’ of the company in their home countries. Alumni reunions are common when Extentia executives travel abroad.
