Extentia proudly hosted its first SAP Day event at its inclusive experience center – XEN LAB in Pune on August 02, 2023. This remarkable gathering blended creativity, engagement, and insightful discussions focused on Extentia's well-established SAP capabilities. Drawing a diverse audience, including SAP partners, customers, and members of Extentia's leadership team, SAP Day served as a melting pot of innovative ideas.

Kicking-off the event, Devashish Nayak – Vice President, Delivery at Extentia, took the audience on a journey down memory lane, highlighting how far Extentia's SAP practice has come. He underscored the company's significant milestones from its first SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) project in the APJ region in 2016 to its flagship app FIT and event management app – Xventor – currently used to manage global SAP events. He also reiterated Extentia's way of adopting the latest SAP technologies that help in delivering customer projects be it on enterprise level app development and integrating with core SAP products alongside C4C, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Ariba. The 2022 Low-Code No-Code (LCNC) win of SAP’s Hackathon challenge in the APJ region was just another feather in the cap.

 

Distinguished guest speakers from SAP India illuminated the capabilities of SAP BTP and SAP Build, tailored to address diverse business needs. They displayed real-world use cases that optimized business operations while overcoming challenges.

 

Event Highlights: 

• Sandeep Zadoo – Director – Sales, SAP India, outlined SAP's visionary roadmap from the boardroom to the APJ level. RISE with BTP emerged as the definitive solution, facilitating the transition from on-premise to cloud solutions. Sandeep emphasized SAP's plans to pioneer innovative use cases through Generative AI within SAP BTP and SAP’s Integration Suite which harnesses the power of data to provide sustainable solutions. 

 

• Rayan Saldanha – Head of Pre-sales CoE, SAP India, underscored the importance of comprehending customers' business challenges from diverse perspectives. Rayan discussed five crucial pillars: app development, automation, integration, data & analytics, and AI, all complemented by app modernization and SAP Build. 

 

• Shayani Chakraborti – Customer Success Partner, SAP India, highlighted the significance of design thinking in problem-solving, solution mapping, and having a structured approach. Thomas Biedermann – User Experience & Design Expert from SAP AppHaus Germany, joined online to share the benefits of AppHaus' human-centric approach and innovation culture toolkit. Extentia has been a member of the SAP AppHaus Network since August 2019 and its innovative space – XEN LAB – encourages innovation, creativity, problem-solving, and way-out-of-the-box thinking.

 

• Tridib Chaudhuri – Head Customer Success Partner, SAP India, emphasized the value framework of a Future Ready Enterprise (FRE) and its significance for customers. He highlighted SAP's commitment to empowering customers for a future-ready landscape. 
   

• Amandeep Kaur Budhiraja – Solution Expert CoE, SAP India, delved into the importance of app modernization. She highlighted how Generative AI and SAP Build, coupled with a low-code no-code formula can empower customers to achieve operational efficiencies. 

 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Anil Apte – Senior Vice President, Delivery at Extentia. He highlighted how the sessions offered a comprehensive view of SAP's transformative capabilities. The event also incorporated Extentia's culture of fun by engaging attendees in a unique challenge to create a 3D model using clay and toothpicks! An interactive quiz provided participants with deeper insights into Extentia's SAP practice.
